Last month DMC brought Katherine Dodge on board as an intern for the summer of 2017.
Katherine recently finished her 3rd year as a student at the University of Florida and is pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Sciences & Engineering. She is excited to gain experience in marine and environmental engineering at our corporate office in Port Orange, FL. She was an IB student at Spruce Creek High School and we are delighted to see her return to Port Orange to serve our community and hometown here at DMC.
We know that with her leadership skills from serving as President of the UF Sailing Club Team and adept personality, she will thrive at our company. DMC strives to foster a staff team that embodies the core values of the company: Trustworthy, Respectful, Accountable, Enthusiastic, Innovative, Aspire, and Selfless. We are looking forward to giving Katherine learning experiences in the real engineering world that a textbook cannot teach as she begins to step out of her comfort zone. Katherine has already worked on a variety of projects for the company and we feel confident that she will professionally grow and succeed here this summer. We are looking forward to her becoming a permanent member of the DMC family.
Welcome to the team, Katherine!
